New Powers to protect learner driversPosted on 10:40am Monday 25th Jun 2012 Listed under: Driving instructors who are of significant threat to the public by way of allowing dangerous practices whilst giving driving lessons are to face immediate suspension under new legislation put forward in parliament last week. Under current law it takes a minimum of 45 days to suspend an instructor but from the 13th July the register of approved driving instructors will be able to do this with immediate effect.
